Re-Roofs in Mansfield
The Dog Inn at Pentrich Derbyshire completed in brand new slate without any impact on the daily work at the restaurant. Much to the delight of management.
This project was a grade 2 listed building and some parts of the roof were constructed from old ship masts, which stay very flat not!!!!!!!
This project was quite complicated due to the fact the roof was not square, and had more bumps than a toads back. We had to brace and pack quite a few spars to get some of the uneveness out, and also put a splay cut course at the top on the rear elevation.
All the dormer fronts were vertically slated to replace old tatty barge boards, and all new leadwork was installed to complete the finish.
All in all this was a very nice job to do and we are happy with the end result.
